Metropolitan College offers a wide range of bachelor degree programs in convenient, part-time evening formats—ideal for busy professionals who seek to earn a Boston University degree without turning their personal lives upside down or putting their careers on hold. Along with a choice of 15 majors, there are two degree completion programs: the Accelerated Degree Completion Program and the online Undergraduate Degree Completion Program.
A variety of undergraduate certificate programs provide the opportunity for focused study in a specific subject. Certificates can work into select degree programs at MET, offer breadth to current studies, or build professional skills and knowledge.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sociology develops strong analytic skills and a broad knowledge of human relations and social systems. The discipline provides useful tools for a variety of careers in law, business, social work, criminal justice, and policy impact analysis, among others.

For students who wish to complete their bachelor’s degree—and who have previously earned 52-64 transferable academic credits—the Undergraduate Degree Completion Program (UDCP) offers a unique, completely online curriculum covering the social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences.
