Learn specialized techniques for software risk management, software cost estimation, and software quality management, along with virtual project management skills that enhance the ability to manage geographically distributed software development.
- The Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) develops expertise in managing complex large- and small-scale projects by focusing on project conception, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation. Learn how to facilitate relationships between the project team and customers, and balance competing demands among scope, time, cost, and quality. Course waivers can be provided for the PMP certification.
Boston University also has graduate certificate programs that provide focused study without commitment to a full degree program. Credits from graduate certificates can be applied to the MSCIS or the MSPM.
