Metropolitan
College Colloquia
Boston University is one of the leading private research and teaching
institutions in the world today. As one of BU’s 17 Schools and
Colleges, Metropolitan College (MET) is an active participant in scholarly
work and research.
The colloquia page is a forum for MET faculty to
share their innovative work in pedagogy, research, and other areas.
Papers published by MET faculty undergo a critical selection process,
and offer interdisciplinary engagement of critical issues in adult
and distance education.
We invite you to explore and enjoy the colloquia
and papers posted on this page.

Working Papers
Metropolitan College invites submissions to the MET Working Papers project
- a new online research initiative sponsored by Metropolitan College.
Submissions should engage issues of interest to all MET College faculty
and other faculty in adult and distance education and should offer original
research or insights into pedagogy, adult education, educational technologies,
or other issues relevant to MET's mission.
All submissions are peer-reviewed,
and revisions may be required. Submissions should be of journal
quality and will be published here on the Metropolitan College website.
Papers that are of interest only to particular departments are not appropriate
and should be submitted to the department or a journal.
Submit papers
(including abstract) or any questions to Greg Salyer at gsalyer@bu.edu.
