A Step-by-Step Guide to Registration

Or, if you prefer to fill out a paper registration form, please follow the instructions below.

1. Choose Your Courses
The Boston University Course Schedule lists which courses are available for the current or upcoming semester.

You can also request a printed Metropolitan College schedule for the current semester by calling 617-353-6000.

Please note that some courses require Stamped Approval. To obtain Stamped Approval, please contact the Metropolitan College Administrative Office at 617-353-3000 for instructions.

2. Fill Out Your Registration Form
New students must submit a course registration form.

You can download the form; pick one up at 755 Commonwealth Avenue, Room B5; or request a form by calling 617-353-6000.

Note: If you wish to register for a course that is already full, you must obtain the instructor’s permission and signature on the Class Adjustment Form.

3. Submit Your Registration Form
Once you’ve filled out your registration form, mail, fax, or deliver to:

4. Confirm Your Schedule
New students and non-degree students will receive confirmation of their courses in the mail.

Once you have registered for your courses you may still change your schedule.

You may also access your schedule online using Student Link. Student Link is a fast and easy way to access and modify your student information. To access Student Link, you need a BU e-mail address and Kerberos password. If you do not have one already, you will need to apply for a BU student e-mail account.

5. Settle Your Account
If you have not received an invoice for the Fall 2009 semester by September 16, 2009, or are completing registration after this date, you may contact Student Accounting Services at 617-353-2264 to request one.

If you have a BU e-mail address and Kerberos password, you can also view your student account on Student Link.

Note: Payment is due by the payment deadline without regard to receipt of an invoice. The last day to settle your account for Fall 2009 courses is September 16, 2009. Late fees will be assessed beginning on this date. Find out more about tuition and fees.
