BU Login & Kerberos Password
Your Boston University login (Kerberos password) is required for almost any online computer resource on campus. Not only does it create an email account, but it also gives you access to online grading, course web tools, and the Faculty Link (which includes class schedules, lists, textbook information, and final exam schedules).
Many Metropolitan College faculty members already have an email address and do not want a BU email account. In this case, please create your account anyway and then set up message forwarding.
If you are new to Boston University you will be able to set up your account only after you meet with Human Resources to verify your I-9 documents. The HR representative will be able to help you set up your account and issue you a Terrier ID card. However, you will have to visit the IT Help Center in person at 533 Commonwealth Avenue or Mugar Library, 771 Commonwealth Avenue, to set up your email account. Please be prepared to show some form of photo ID.
To set up email forwarding to another email address, such as Gmail:
