Graduate Certificate in Project Management

Admissions and Eligibility

General Admissions Requirements
In order to be considered for the Graduate Certificate in Project Management, applicants must have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. International students for whom English is not a first language must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). For current information on the TOEFL examination, please visit www.ets.org/toefl. Students are expected to show good writing skills and strong professional reasons for pursuing this program. The case study method is based on interactive teaching, which necessitates a great deal of class participation.

We invite you to pursue your educational and professional goals through this ambitious online graduate certificate program. If you are up to the challenge, please consider this opportunity. Feel free to contact us directly at (617) 353-6001 or metcorp@bu.edu to discuss the application process and the program content in more detail.

Good Academic Standing
Students admitted to the Project Management Certificate Program must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 in each course to be in good academic standing and to graduate from the certificate program. No grade lower than B- may be used toward graduation requirements at Boston University. Faculty will work with students throughout the program to make certain that students are aware of their academic progress and any potential deficiencies.
