
General Admissions Requirements
In order to be considered for the Master of Science Degree in Project
Management, offered online for GE employees, applicants must demonstrate
through their admissions essay that they can handle a rigorous, fast-paced
curriculum and can play a unique role in the online classroom discussions.
Students must have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree to be
considered for this program. International students for whom English
is not a first language must submit the results of the Test of English
as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). For current information on the TOEFL

Applicants are expected to show good writing skills and strong professional
reasons for pursuing this program. Candidates should emphasize a clear
career strategy and explain through their brief admissions essay how
this program will fit into their long-term career goals.

Good Academic Standing
Students admitted to the Master of Science Degree in Project Management
must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 in each course to
be in good academic standing in the degree program. No grade lower than
B- may be used toward graduation requirements at Boston University.
Faculty will work with students throughout the program to make certain
that students are aware of their academic progress and any potential
deficiencies.
Rolling Admissions - Apply Before Registering for Courses
Courses begin every 7 weeks; however you must apply to the graduate
certificate or master's degree to register for courses. Applications
are accepted on a rolling admissions basis.

Costs
As of Fall 2008, tuition is $2,720 per Boston University Metropolitan
College graduate course, plus a $40 registration fee each semester.
Online courses are also assessed a $200 technology fee per course. Please
consult your human resources manager for details on GE's tuition reimbursement
program.
