
General Admissions Requirements
The Graduate Certificate for Acquisition Managers program is available
to all qualified men and women who have earned a bachelor's degree from
a regionally accredited college or university. It is only available
to active duty military personnel, dependents, and Department of Defense
employees or contractors. No particular undergraduate course of study
is required for admission. Applications are reviewed by the Metropolitan
College Graduate Committee on a continuing basis throughout the year.

Good Academic Standing
Students admitted to the Graduate Certificate for Acquisition Managers
must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 in each course
to be in good academic standing and to graduate from the certificate
program. No grade lower than B- may be used toward graduation requirements
at Boston University. Faculty will work with students throughout
the program to make certain that students are aware of their academic
progress and any potential deficiencies.

Course Waivers for DAU or PMP® certification
Some project management experiences and professional certifications,
such as PMP®, may qualify you to waive one course in the online
Master of Science in Project Management. Also, if you have taken
courses from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), please ask your
advisor for information, and submit proof of completion with your application
to the address above.
On-base Costs
As of Fall 2007, active duty military, their dependents and DoD employees/contractors
are eligible for a discounted tuition rate of $1,980 per Boston University
Metropolitan College on-base classroom-based graduate course, plus
a $40 registration fee each semester.
