We are proud that has entrusted us with the all-important task of educating their associates. Then again, we have a lot to offer the working professional.

MET College, as our 3500 students call it, was established in 1965. Forty years later, we are proud to offer over 850 courses that can be applied to 40 degrees and certificates. With such varied programs of study, Metropolitan College is really a university within a university.

Above all else, Metropolitan College, is committed to providing our students with a quality, state-of-the-art learning experience. Even within the BU community, MET College is viewed as the innovative, entrepreneurial arm of a major research institution. Many of our faculty members hold special distinctions in their fields and have been honored for their teaching abilities. We have also earned a special distinction as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education. Our computer science degrees and concentrations in Information Security are certified by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security.

We’ve put in a lot of time and effort to prepare the best possible curriculum for you and your colleagues. After visiting the rest of our pages posted to this site, I hope you will decide to apply as another one of our online students. We look forward to working with you.
