At MET, we're constantly seeking new ways to deliver quality
education to non-traditional students of all ages and interests. Here
is a sample of our most far-reaching programs:
Summer Term – high school, college, and post-college students may take many of BU’s finest courses during the summer.
Military Programs – MET offers master’s degree programs to military personnel at several bases in North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Massachusetts.
Center for Professional Education (CPE) - CPE provides short, high-quality, non-credit certificate programs specifically designed to meet the continuing professional education and certificate needs of such industries as financial service, real estate, publishing, and law.
Science and Engineering – the Science and Engineering Program (SEP) at Boston University’s Metropolitan College allows high school graduates to enter a Boston University baccalaureate science or engineering degree program after the conclusion of SEP’s two-year course of study.
Evergreen Program – this program provides opportunities for students aged 58 and over to participate in the university community through cultural and recreational programs, seminars, and BU courses.
Seminars in the Arts and Culinary Arts – MET offers professional level wine and culinary certificates, as well as cultural tours and seminars for the casual epicure.
Cooking up Culture – this program for children explores world cultures through regional cuisines.
Prison Education – MET offers programs for individuals incarcerated in correctional facilities in Massachusetts.
