Additional Information
A maximum of three urban affairs and planning courses taken at Metropolitan College prior to acceptance into the program may be applied toward the degree. The courses must be graduate level, with a grade of C (2.0) or higher. Minimum passing grade for a course is C, but a grade average of B (3.0) must be maintained to satisfy M.C.P. degree requirements.

The 64 credits required for the degree may be earned within two years of full-time study and must be earned within a maximum of seven years. With prior approval of the department coordinator, graduate coursework in urban and regional planning may be transferred from another accredited institution for degree credit.

No credit is allowed for courses used to fulfill another degree. Up to 16 credits taken at Boston University outside of the Urban Affairs and Planning Program may be applied to the degree, with prior approval by the department coordinator.
