Boston University has all the advantages of being in the heart of one of the United States’ most desirable cities. In fact, along with reputation, one of the top reasons our students choose Metropolitan College is our appealing location. Yet, we also offer a broad range of options for students who may not live or work in Boston—or anywhere near it.
For instance, you can study at your company location, or at our campus in Chelmsford. There are programs online, at military bases, and abroad—even within the confines of correctional facilities.
Boston University’s main campus extends over 131 acres from Boston’s Back Bay district along the banks of the Charles River. Museums, theatres, galleries, shopping districts, cafés, historic parks, and major universities are all within walking distance of the Charles River Campus, and there are several trolley stops on campus.
As the academic hub of Metropolitan College, the Charles River Campus is home to our classroom-based undergraduate programs, and a broad range of graduate programs.
As one of its most innovative ventures, Metropolitan College partners with corporations to provide customized educational opportunities for executives and employees—and we can deliver the program on-site at your facility.

I just completed MET’s MSBA program at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The program you offer to active military is second to none. I have been so impressed with the flexibility of the professors and administrators—this program saw me through two deployments. I recommend MET to every young Lieutenant I come into contact with.
