Metropolitan College receives internationally recognized EPAS accreditation for Department of Administrative Sciences business programs.

Boston, Mass.—March 1, 2012: After a rigorous review process, the graduate management programs in Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET) were approved for accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Program Accreditation System (EPAS).

Based in Brussels, Belgium, EFMD is recognized globally as an accreditation body of quality in management education. Of the 55 schools currently holding EPAS accreditation, Metropolitan College is one of only two in the U.S., and is among the select few non-business schools to be approved.

“EPAS accreditation is wonderful recognition of Metropolitan College’s accomplishments in management education” notes Metropolitan College Dean Jay Halfond. “As management education has exploded worldwide, our success comes from differentiating and distinguishing ourselves by who we teach, how we teach, and what we teach—all under the leadership of accomplished, well-rounded, innovative scholars.”
