WiFi / BU Guest Network

Our robust wireless network will keep you connected regardless of where you are on campus. As a guest of a conference or program, you will have full access to the network on your computer, phone, and other wireless devices. Refer to this guide on how to connect to the network, or ask a Front Desk Attendant at any time for assistance.

Parking

Due to Boston University’s urban setting, street parking is limited. We encourage visitors to take public transportation as much as possible. Should your travel needs require parking, select university lots are available for daily or overnight guest parking. Overnight parking is typically available at Lot B: Langsam Garage. If parking wasn’t pre-arranged as part of your program, you can self-pay at the garage. Didn’t come with a car? Check out the Getting Around page.

Fitness and Recreation Center

Your workout routine doesn’t need to fall behind while you are at BU. Beat the heat indoors at Boston University’s phenomenal Fitness and Recreation Center. Facilities such as 18,000 square feet of the latest cardio and strength equipment, an indoor jogging track, two world-class swimming pools, squash and racquetball courts, and a climbing wall give you the best workout in Boston just steps away from where you will be staying. Summer guest passes are available for day use, as well as one, two, three, four, six, eight and twelve-week increments. Registration: Simply stop by FitRec Member Services at 915 Commonwealth Ave when you arrive. Check out the FitRec website for pricing and details. Take the FitRec Tour.

City Convenience

You’re never far from a quick pick-me-up. These full-service stores feature grocery items, including coffee, muffins, sandwiches, and healthy snacks. Newspapers, magazines, sundries, and a range of other products and services are also available. City Convenience stores are located throughout campus, including West Campus, The George Sherman Union, and Warren Towers.
