For Students

With more than 500 registered student organizations, student life is enhanced by thousands of extracurricular activities each year. And Events & Conferences—primarily through University Reservations—is ready to assist.

BUT the planning for a successful student organization event begins with the Student Activities Office. We look forward to working with you as your planning gets underway.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR SPRING SEMESTER 2021: Due to the current situation with COVID-19, all events, meetings, and gatherings will need to follow the Guiding Principles for On-Campus Events. Student organizations should work with the Student Activities Office directly, prior to submitting your space request. Reservations will be notified by SAO of your event moving forward and that the checklist guidelines have been met.

Filming on campus

If you are a student interested in filming on campus, you should discuss your film or television project with COM to determine the best practices.

Employment

Events & Conferences hires nearly 100 students each year. In the summer months we provide free on-campus housing as part of the compensation. We have a variety of positions in residence halls and in our office. View our Employment  page for more information.
