Dr. Kong’s main research interest lies in the interface of control theory, dynamical system, machine learning, formal methods and their applications to develop a richer understanding of human and animal behaviors (the inverse problem). He is also interested in robotics, especially the interaction of intelligent agents with the real world and the integration of sensing, planning and control modules.
