Additional Options

The College of Engineering at Boston University offers multiple program options.

Dual Degree:

Students can earn two bachelor degrees from two different schools or colleges simultaneously.  A minimum of 144 credits is required and all of the program specific requirements for both programs must be met.  Students can apply to this program once they have achieved sophomore standing if they have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Double Majors:

Students can earn two engineering bachelor degrees.  A minimum of 168 credits is required and all of the program specific requirements for both programs must be met.   Students can apply to this program once they have achieved sophomore standing if they have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Early Admission to M.Eng Program:

The Master’s in Engineering Program is designed to allow qualified students the opportunity to apply for early admission to the M.Eng program and complete both degrees in 5 years or less depending upon the number of AP and/or college credits with which they enter the undergraduate program. Students may apply to the M.Eng program as early as June 1st of their junior year, and will be notified with a decision by September 1st.
