MCBB COVID-19 FAQ

*Updated 06/22/20*

As BU has enacted plans to help protect the health and safety of the BU community from the spread of COVID-19, there have been a number of changes to students’ spring semesters. We have received many questions about how these changes will impact our students and what our plans are moving forward. Some of the most commonly asked questions are below. For full information on BU’s response to COVID-19, please see BU’s COVID-19 website. If your question is broader than the MCBB Program’s scope, it is likely found on BU’s COVID-19 website.

How will fall 2020 classes work?

Fall 2020 courses will function under the Learn from Anywhere (LfA) framework, meaning all classes will be a mix of in-person, remote, and asynchronous components. The exact nature of each class is currently being determined. More information on returning to campus for fall 2020 can be found on the Back2BU website.

How will registering for fall 2020 classes work?

Students should make advising appointments directly with their advisors. Visit our Fall 2020 registration page for more information.

How will research work?

Research and clinical operations are in the process of ramping up their activity. More information on this process and considerations for lab members is here.
