3. Humanities Computing

The Suda On Line is a collaborative
project intending to publish a translation of the Suda on the Web.
I have worked on the SGML design for the stored entries and done a share
of the translating.

The Stoa Consortium works on refereed
electronic publication in the classics. We attempt to "define and
refine new models for scholarly collaboration via the internet."
As co-editor, I work on technical standards and archival issues for the
Stoa.

The Perseus Digital Library
is the premier on-line database of classical texts, artworks, and maps,
with growing collections in other areas as well. I work on the text
processing system and on Greek and Latin texts.
