Libraries and Study Areas

There are several Bibliotecas on the Campus de Cantoblanco. The main library is the Humanidades library but every Facultad has a library.

You can use any library on campus, just choose which one is more convenient for you according to your area of study; all libraries are open from 9:00-20:30h (M-F) and Satursdays during exams. Please note that the Biblioteca de Ciencias is the only one that has a 24/7 study area during finals.

In order to check out books, you will always need to show your UAM ID card. You will also need your PIN to use online services such as renewing books without having to personally bring them to the library (specially useful for science students). Students can also borrow laptops from the UAM libraries (your UAM ID card is also be required for rentals).
