  4. I completed a course required in Boston University's MACI program at another institution. Do I need to take it again?
  5. How many courses can a student take at the School of Public Health or another Boston University Department that will count towards the MACI program?
  6. Can I use my practicum as credits toward the 32 credits necessary to complete my degree?

  9. What are the career paths for MACI graduates?

    Some MACI graduates are working in a broad range of jobs and careers within clinical research especially in the areas of Study Monitoring (senior clinical research associate; manager of clinical research; project manager); Regulatory and Compliance (manager & director of regulatory affairs; IRB coordinator; manager of quality assurance); Data Management (clinical data architect, data manager); and Consulting. Other MACI graduates apply to medical school while in process of achieving their MA degree. Physicians (M.D.), Nurses (R.N.) or those students who have a PhD degree often become Investigators within academic research centers, or private research organizations or move into industry roles such as Medical Affairs, Clinical Safety or Pharmacovigilance.
