Known errata
If you find errors that I haven't listed here, let me know and I'll
add them.
Chierchia & McConnell-Ginet (2000).
p. 29, 2nd par., line 4. "-pose it, as in (34); conversely, ...".
That number should be (43).
p. 394, exercise 1, (3): There is a piece missing from the beginning
of the formula. It should read "Lz[Lx[[K(x,z)^R(x,z)]vR(z,x)](j)](m)"
(where L=lambda). That is, insert "[Lx" after the "Lz".
If your web browser can display it, it should look like:
- λz [ λx [[ K(x,z) ∧ R(x,z)
] ∨ R(z,x) ](j)](m)
p. 410, just under (34), they refer to (34), but it should be (33).
de Swart (1998):
p. 10. "However, if we are interested in language as a means of
communication, we do not want to do pure syntax, just in order to do syntax."
That last word should be semantics.
