Dropping and Adding Courses

Students may drop or add a course using WebReg on the Student Link. Students may also complete a class adjustment form, which is available from your School or College, or from the Office of the University Registrar. At a number of Schools and Colleges, an instructor’s signature is required to add or drop a course after the semester begins. Consult with your advisor before adding or dropping a course.

Important Points to Remember:
  1. After the first two weeks of classes, no courses may be added.
  2. Courses dropped during the first five weeks will not appear on students’ permanent records.
  3. Courses dropped after the first five weeks will remain on permanent records with grades of W. Students will be charged for any W grade course.
  4. No course may be dropped after the eighth week of the semester.
