Idea & ObjectiveThe Library in conjunction with the Office of Distance Education will develop a module about Library services and resources which could be included in any Boston University Distance Education course. This module will be based on the skill sets outlined by Project SAILS which in turn were based on four of the five Association of College and Research Libraries Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education. The Library's goal in creating this module is to teach students information literacy skills. This Library module will be designed to be generic across disciplines, adaptable for different courses and subject areas, and modular. This module will contain BU specific information of importance to distance learners. Administrative Support
