Librarian-led class sessions serve to introduce students to research materials in education – including where to find data sources and how to access digital material. These sessions can support faculty teaching and can be on simple or advanced topics, for single or multiple class sessions, and take place in PERL’s eClassroom or elsewhere. Collaborative projects provide opportunities for the librarian to work with faculty to infuse information literacy into their curricula. Such instruction normally covers the use of a range of electronic resources and can be tailored to your group. Please contact Dan Benedetti to schedule class instruction.
The “library” is not confined to the physical location anymore. The vast majority of our resources are electronic, and accessible from anywhere in the world with your BU web login. Only sometimes the proper resources are tricky to find. Introductions to electronic and print library resources, and consultations for individuals engaged in more advanced research topics are available.
All students, staff and faculty of the Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, and other BU community members are welcome. Please contact Dan Benedetti to schedule an appointment – time and place negotiable!
