eClassroom / Computer Lab
Our eClassroom, room B26, is intended for use by School of Education faculty, staff and students. It functions as a computer lab when not scheduled for a class. All 23 computers are Information Services Technology (IS&T) “thin client” machines that require a current Kerberos name and password to log in. These computers are all managed centrally by IS&T, resulting in a host of benefits, including significantly reduced energy consumption. The machines offer a variety of applications and are connected to the campus MyPrint network. The eClassroom closes 15 minutes prior to the library closing time. Please see additional details about our Computers and Printing.
BU community members may book the room at the discretion of the PERL Librarian and staff.
Please only request reservations for normal library hours.
- Submit a reservation request for a class session.
PERL offers librarian-led instruction for class sessions in the eClassroom to faculty and to students that support faculty teaching. Such instruction normally covers the use of electronic resources and can be tailored to specific topics.
Consultations for individuals and small groups engaged in research are available as well. Please contact Dan Benedetti, the Head of PERL, to schedule a session.
