Rock, Folk, Hip-Hop, Rap: the MMA arrives
Online, cover-to-cover, and in color, Boston University’s Center for the Humanities has generously funded our purchase of the Music Magazine Archive (MMA). These American popular music culture publications enable pinpointing of information on artists, writers, and genres, but they also stand as “real time” documents on the influences and intersections of society, music, and politics. Dates of coverage begin mid twentieth-century and continue through today.
