New Computers and Electrical Outlets

August 28th, 2014

in Science and Engineering Library

This summer, the Science & Engineering Library has added fourteen additional public computers for the use of students, faculty, and visitors. The new computers are on the library’s first floor, next to our existing computers and across from the Circulation Desk.

The library has also installed additional electrical outlets on carrels and tables. Now virtually every seat in the library provides a nearby outlet for plugging in a laptop or other device.

These changes are the result of recent surveys of students conducted by the library, which revealed a strong demand for additional computers and outlets at the Science & Engineering Library, and are part of an ongoing effort to better meet the needs of students.
