Best stress reliever from exams and papers

December 6th, 2012

in Mugar Memorial Library, Pickering Educational Resources Library

It’s bettePuppiesr than the tension relievers sold in drugstores.  And it has only beneficial side effects!

On Thursday, December 13th from 5-9 pm and Saturday, December 15th from 3-7 pm, 16 therapy dogs who are registered with Dog B.O.N.E.S. will be coming to Mugar Library to help relieve your end-of-term stress. You will be able to pet them, rub their tummies or play with the pooches in Mugar room 205.  Boston Terriers and a Great Pyrenee are some of the breeds that will come to the library.

Please note: FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.  Although many students have already made reservations to meet the dogs (for 15 minutes), you can still just show up and have an opportunity to pet some beloved four-legged furry creatures.

This project was the brainchild of Ann Marie Shafer, Mugar Circulation Evening Coordinator, who is a devoted dog lover and advocate of dog therapy programs.

We trust that the experience will make you happy as a dog.
