New Public Computers at Branch Libraries

August 17th, 2011

in Frederick S. Pardee Management Library, Mugar Memorial Library, Pickering Educational Resources Library, Science and Engineering Library

We are pleased to announce several improvements to the public computers (for current BU affiliates) at the following libraries: Pardee Management Library, Pickering Educational Resources Library, and Science and Engineering Library.

Thin clients were recently installed at each location to replace aging desktop PCs.  The new machines are configured essentially the same as those at BU Common @ Mugar and provide access to the same software applications.  These machines are also connected to the IS&T MyPrint system, making it easier for BU students to print while visiting these libraries.

If you have any questions, please contact library staff.
