September 7th, 2007

in Music Library

The Garland Encyclopedia of World Music Online,  which print version in 10v.  resides in the Music Library’s open reserves, is now live. Users are encouraged to explore and practice navigating its new online version. In this its first online iteration, users should note that the publisher has not yet provided the audio clips although other text, illustrations, photos, and music notation examples are included. The audio portions online are scheduled as part of a future release. In the meantime, the accompanying audio examples are available on the CD set at the Music Library.
