Compiled by Ed Asmus and hosted by the University of Miami. Retrospective indexing of selected journals in fields related to music education; includes Poland-Cady Abstract Collection and an index to the Boletin de Investigacio Educativo Musical.

The Music Index Online (1979 - ) ChRiv - px
This provides very up-to-date indexing for over 600 current music periodicals. Its scope is international, though data is drawn chiefly from publications in English and European languages. Online indexing begins from 1979; for earlier coverage, see the Music Index in print (just below).

Print version. Citations from a wide range of scholarly and professional periodical publications devoted to general as well as special fields of music. Scope is international. No abstracts or annotations. Quarterly updates are supplanted by annual culminations.

RILM Abstracts of Music Literature (1966- ) BU-px
or, Répertoire International de Litterature Musical, is an international bibliography of articles, festschriften, congress and conference reports, and dissertations in the field of music and related disciplines. Citations from 1966-1996 are fully abstracted and indexed in English; indexing is available for citations after 1997. Titles for citations appear in their original language and in English translation where applicable. New and retrospective citations and/or abstracts are added monthly. Writers are invited to submit citations and abstracts to RILM Headquarters .
