Databases

BU Libraries offer many of the leading academic databases, such as JSTOR and Lexis Nexis, covering just about every topic under the sun. You can browse our databases by title or topic, and find them quickly through our Search.

eJournals

BU Libraries maintain subscriptions to many of the leading electronic journals. You can browse by topic or conduct a targeted search for a specific source, such as the New York Times, Nature, or the Journal of the American Medical Association.

eBooks

Our ebooks can be found through the BU Libraries Search. Current BU students, staff, and faculty can access our subscription ebooks from a variety of publishers. We also provide access to millions of freely accessible ebooks.

Library Guides

BU librarians have developed specialized guides to help direct you to some of the best resources available. Research guides give you an overview of the resources our subject experts found to be the best on a given topic. Course guides are class-specific resources developed to help you get started with research and maximize your educational experience.

Tools

Try our BU Libraries Search for resources in our holdings and beyond, visit our Digital Initiatives, where you can see what faculty and other BU researchers are investigating, and access RefWorks, which allows you to import and organize resources to create bibliographies and citations.
