Available at Boston Public Library

The Boston Public Library also subscribes to the Gale Virtual Reference Library and other electronic resources. BPL’s eBooks page is available here. Contains full-text reference, literary and nonfiction works.  Coverage includes up-to-date editions of encyclopedias and dictionaries; contemporary and classic thesauri and English usage guides; etiquette (Emily Post) and parliamentary procedure (Robert’s Rules of Order).

Internet Archive: Texts
Displays over 1,000,000 items, most of them published before 1923. Materials have been contributed by American and Canadian libraries.

Collection includes American Memory (history of advertising, technology and industry), country studies/area handbooks, and more.
