How to Locate Persistent URLs

A persistent URL or link is a web address that consistently points to a specific information source such as an article in a full-text library database. This page was created to make it easier to locate or create persistent links using Pardee Library databases with that capability.  Faculty may wish to attach persistent URLs to their syllabus page on SMG Tools to create links to articles for assigned class readings.  Students working on team projects may wish to share articles with one another and may do so with persistent URLs.  If you need any assistance with locating or creating a persistent link, please contact the library.

Not sure which database contains the publication that you need?  Go to the Find ejournal page.

To make online resources available through SMG Tools, please consult:

The EZproxy URL Converter may be used with links that do not already have .ezproxy.bu.edu in the address. You may also want to consult Creating EZproxy Web links from Information Services & Technology.
