Databases With Persistent URLs

A persistent URL or link is a web address that will consistently point to a specific information source such as an article in a full-text library database. This page was created to make it easier to locate or create persistent links using Pardee Library databases with that capability.  Faculty may wish to attach persistent URLs to their syllabus page on SMG Tools or CourseInfo to create links to articles for course readings.  Students working on team projects may wish to share articles with one another and could do so with persistent URLs.  If you need help locating or creating a persistent link, please contact the library.

Not sure which database contains the publication that you need?  Consult the Search Engine to Electronic Journals.

To make online resources available through SMG Tools, please consult: http://smghelp.bu.edu/smgtools/smgtools.shtml#postlinks

The EZproxy URL Converter may be used with links that do not have .ezproxy.bu.edu in the address. You may also want to consult Incorporating EZproxy Into Provided Links from the Office of Information Technology.
