About: JSTOR

JSTOR
Description: JSTOR is a full text collection of back issues of over 200 core scholarly journals, representing academic disciplines in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, including economics and finance.
JSTOR journals are updated according to a “moving wall” policy, agreed on by publishers.
In most cases, the moving wall period of time is from 3 to 5 years, the time gap between the most recently published issue and the date of those issues available in JSTOR.
Notes: The Library’s subscription includes journals in JSTOR’s Arts and Sciences I and Arts and Sciences II collections.
Access: BU-px
Search Tips: In Basic and Advanced Search modes, select disciplines or journals.
In Advanced Search, use quotes around terms to be searched; use commands such as “and” or “or” to combine terms.
In Basic and Advanced Search modes, searches may be limited by date, type of publication, and publication date.
Retrieved articles may be printed, emailed or downloaded into the following formats: pdf, PostScript, or TIFF, a format that allows the article to be used with document scanner/readers, etc.
Instructions are given for each type of downloading.
To retrieve a specific article in a specific journal, use the Basic or Advanced Search options.
