Finding books at BU: library.bu.edu/
Beginning your research with books allows you to use the author's bibliography - an excellent way to identify primary sources.
Have you checked Course Reserves for your class?
Each book has a unique call number:
![]()
A location chart available by the elevators and at reference tells you which floor contains that call number range, and floor plans at Reference help you pinpoint the location.
Don't forget to get a PIN number at the Circulation Desk - you need it to renew books from off-site! |
The Virtual Catalog allows you to request books directly from other libraries; books are delivered to the Circulation Desk in 3-5 days. (SO...if a book is checked out here, you can still get your hands on a copy!)
