Encyclopedia of Human Behavior. 1994: A four-volume work containing signed articles on many aspects of human behavior. Each article has a bibliography.

Lexis Nexis Statistical. (bu only): Lexis Nexis Statistical is an online version of three indexes: American Statistics Index, covering 1973 to the present; Index to International Statistics, covering 1983 to the present; and Statistical Reference Index, covering 1980 to the present. The database indexes and abstracts social, demographic, and economic statistics published by the U.S. government, the U.N. and other international governmental organizations, US state governments and U.S. private nonprofit and commercial associations and organizations. Most of these publications are available in the ASI, IIS, and SRI microfiche collections in Mugar Library. The PowerTables section of the database contains complete statistical tables and may be searched separately.

Measures For Clinical Practice. 2007.: Instruments selected because they measure most of the common problems seen in clinical practice. Vol. 1 includes measures for couples, families, and children and Vol. 2 contains measures for adults with problems outside the context of the family.

Directory of Unpublished Experimental Mental Measures.: This nine volume set gives information on measures and scales that have been published in scholarly journals. National Association Of Social Workers http://www.naswdc.org/: Provides information about NASW, the Code of Ethics, state NASW chapters, professional social work credentials, and publications. Gives views on many issues relevant to social work practice, including legislation.
Social Work And Social Services Web Sites http://gwbweb.wustl.edu/websites.html: Extensive list of web sites relevant to social workers. Includes categories such as abuse and violence, addiction, adoption and foster parenting, family therapy, measurement and assessment scales, welfare, and women's issues. There are many more categories with numerous links. The site is maintained by the George Warren School of Social Work at Washington University.
Social Work Access Network http://www.sc.edu/swan/index.html: Provides links to national organizations, global organizations, U.S. government organizations, conferences and meetings, newsgroups, listserves, schools of social work, and topics by subject. Maintained by the College of Social Work at the University of South Carolina.
