Almanac of American Politics. Bi-annual. Profiles every U.S. senator, House member and governor, as well as provides interest group ratings, key votes and election results. Published every two years.
Congressional Directory. Annual. Contains biographical sketches of members of Congress arranged by state as well as committee assignments, state delegations, and names of foreign diplomatic representatives. This source also contains a wealth of non-biographical information such as office locations and maps of congressional districts.
Congressional Quarterly's Politics in America. Annual. Articles profile each legislator's voting records, influence, and issues considered critical by individual members. Geographical arrangement with name index. Much of the information here has been repackaged on the web as On the Job, noted above.
