Abstracts in Social Gerontology (online-1990-). (bu only)
This index was entitled Current Literature
on Aging from 1964-1989. It indexes primarily journals although
books, articles, pamphlets, and government publications are also
included. There is a classified subject arrangement with subject
and author indexes. Also includes a section of bibliographical citations
without abstracts.

and interrelated behavioral and social sciences, including gerontology. Indexes approximately
2,200 periodicals. Provides abstracts and many full-text links for journal articles as well
as information on books and book chapters.

Indexes over 1300 publications relating to social work and human
services, including social welfare, social policy gerontology, and community
development. Includes abstracts of journal articles and dissertations
as well as citations to book reviews. Has some full-text links to articles.

The Encyclopedia of Aging. 2006
Comprehensive two volume encyclopedia of topics from the field of gerontology.
Cross-references are given at the end of most articles. Includes
a subject index and a list of contributors.

AARP
The web page of the American Association of Retired Persons
includes articles on many topics related to aging. It also has the
full text of Congressional testimonies by representatives from AARP.
AARP Guide to
Internet Resources Related to Aging
Provides links to numerous web sites, listservs, newsgroups,
and electronic magazines. Each suggested resource includes an annotated
description. There is an alphabetical list of sites and a list of
contents.
Administration
on Aging
Includes many links to web sites on aging. Also has information
on legislation related to the aging.
AgeSource/AgeStats
Worldwide
AgeSource identifies clearinghouses, databases, libraries, directories,
bibliographies, reading lists, and websites
that focus on aging. AgeStats provides access to statistical data from a number of different countries and gives comparative data and projections when available. One can search the databases individually or together.
ElderWeb
Provides access to information on many aspects of eldercare,
including financial, legal, housing, and medical issues. Has links
to full text articles from a variety of sources, including agencies,
newspapers, and journals.
The Gerontological Society of America
In addition to providing information about the Society and various
aspects of gerontology, this site includes links to a number of
online resources.
GRADSCHOOLS.COM
Provides information on gerontology programs in the United States
and other countries. It also has information on distance learning
programs.
