Parent Workshop I The study of environmental management in colleges and
universities is booming. Tomorrows workforce is being
educated today by a growing number of environmental courses
within business, engineering, science, journalism, law and
public policy schools. Students are being taught to see
environmental issues in ways that are fundamentally
different than those of previous generations. Is the
environment just a fad? Or, is it a field with long term
staying power? Professor Hoffman will walk you through a
history of environmentalism as it relates to business.
Starting in the early 1960s and moving to the present, he
will discuss how it is changing both education and the work
environment that today's students will enter. 10:15 - 11:15 AM Break 11:15-11:30 AM Parent Workshop II (Conference Auditorium) Unintended consequences of technological developments and
