Training & Orientation Programs for OneLs

The library provides extensive training and orientation programs for OneLs.

In the fall semester, the reference librarians offer an introduction to the law library as well as optional library tours. To complement the First Year Writing Program, required library training includes a research tour and two class sessions on Online Legal Research. Supplemental Westlaw and LexisNexis training sessions will also be offered. These supplemental sessions are optional.

For the spring semester, the library coordinates advanced LexisNexis and Westlaw training for the Moot Court and provides research guides to assist students with their writing assignments.
