The library maintains a core collection of materials in the reserve area behind the circulation desk at Pappas.
Additional materials are placed on reserve each semester as requested by law faculty for courses. The library has at least one copy of all materials listed on the booklists for J.D. and LL.M. students.
Materials on reserve for courses, including e-reserves, can be searched by either Course Name/Number or Professor on the library catalog.
Reserve materials may be borrowed for two hours and may be renewed for two additional two hour periods if not requested by other patrons.
Law students may borrow selected reserve materials overnight. These materials may be checked out up to two hours before the library closes and are due back to the library one hour after opening. All other users may only use reserve materials in the library.
Generally, reserve materials marked Library Use Only or Non-Circulating must be used within the library.
Law students who have overdue reserve material will receive an email and/or phone call from library staff requesting the immediate return of the material. All other borrowing is suspended until overdue reserve materials are returned. Material which is overdue by one week is billed for replacement through University Student Accounts.
Please contact us immediately if you do not have the material listed in the overdue notice. Even if you are positive that the material was returned, our records still indicate that the material is checked out to you.
