Instructions on accessing the English Reports CD-Rom
The library has access to the English Reports CD-Rom, KD270 1220 .E65a, published by Jutastat. This electronic resources includes volumes 1 to 176 of the English Reports and Nominative Reports. Students may access this CD-Rom from any of the computers located within the Pappas Reading Room, and the third floor computer labs. Remote access is not available for this resource.
To access this database from any of the computers, a student should first click on the Start Menu on the lower left hand corner of the computer screen. Then, click on "All Programs," then "Jutastat Publications," and then "English Law Reports." Please note that our license only allows one user at a time to access this database, so if a user gets a message that says something like "unable to open...license user limit has been exceeded," the user needs to wait a few minutes and then try to log in again.
Harvard Law School Library has a research guide on navigating the English Reports CD-Rom which explains how users can search the database by name, topic, citation, or date. It also provides helpful information on how to navigate through one's search results, as well as using the "hit list" and how to print one's results, or the case you are looking for.
