eResources Update: Law360

The Law Library now subscribes to Law360, which currently provides in depth coverage of developments in 13 practice areas: bankruptcy, competition, employment, energy, environment, financial services, health, insurance, intellectual property, products liability, real estate, securities, and technology. 

This current awareness service delivers email newsletters every weekday for each practice area covering litigation in the federal district courts, major opinions in the federal courts, class action suits and multidistrict litigation, law firm news, and major legislative developments at the state, federal and international levels. 

Articles include links to dockets and key documents and include the names of counsel, case number, and the court.  Additional content on the site includes practice area information, articles by lead practitioners, surveys of litigation trends, and practice group rankings.

Accessing & Searching Law360

Law360 content is available anywhere you have an Internet connection.  When you use the link provided here, you will be asked to log in with your BU username and Kerberos password.    

• Use the Search News box for a quick, Google-like search of the entire Law360 site.
• Advanced Search allows users to limit searches by litigation type, practice area, industry, region, or topics.

Signing up for Law360 Newsletters

Look for the email newsletters link on the upper right hand corner of Law360. Select newsletters of interest and provide your BU email address.

Please note that currently the links from the newsletters only work from computers in the law tower and annex. We are currently working with Law360 to set up the email links to authenticate via BU username and Kerberos password.

TIP: To retrieve a story of interest from the email newsletter copy its title, access Law360 then using the Advanced Search option, paste the title into the "With the exact phrase(s)" box and select "Search article titles and summaries only".
