Access to Lexis and Westlaw for Graduating Students
Lexis and Westlaw are offering graduating students special access to their services.
Lexis: Upon registration, full access will be granted until August 1, 2009
Also, the LexisNexis ASPIRE (Associates Serving Public Interests Research) program allows qualified graduates to access a specified menu of LexisNexis services at no charge. To be eligible, you must have accepted an Associate position at a law firm, but 1) are experiencing a deferred fall 2009 start date, and 2) are taking on public interest work during your deferral period. To learn more and to register, go to http://www.lexisnexis.com/aspire
Westlaw: Special graduate passwords will be provided allowing 5 hours of access per month during the months of June and July 2009.
Also, graduates have one full year of job search access with their regular law school Westlaw passwords (passwords will change to job search access on May 31, 2009).
