News: Updated Library Copying, Printing & Scanning
In July the library contracted with a new vendor to update its copying and printing systems.
Copy machines are new and produce quality reproductions. All copiers are equipped with document feeds and are capable of reduction and enlargement.
Printouts at library print stations are now managed centrally and documents can be retrieved from any print station. If a printer does not print your document due to low toner or some other condition, library circulation staff are able to send your print job to another station. [For details on wireless printing and MyPrint, the new ACS quota printing, please see Computer Services: Printing on the library's website.]
Cards with copy/print credit may be purchased from vending machines outside the photocopy room on the second floor of Pappas and at the Annex. Price per print has not changed and is equivalent to our 2003 pricing. The new cards link to an online account to access their value. Please register your card at the Pappas circulation desk. If a registered card is lost or damaged, circulation staff can deactivate the card and transfer your balance to your new card.
A book scanner was added to the Annex. The library also has a book scanner available in the Pappas copy room and in room 316 there is a scanner with a document feed.
Please check with circulation staff if you need assistance in using any of the new equipment.
