Anna Lawless-Collins oversees the Systems and Collection Services department, where she helps to make sure library resources are accessible and available to patrons in our online catalog and other library systems.  She was previously the Collection Development Librarian, responsible for overseeing the management of library’s print and electronic resources.  Before coming to Boston University, she worked at the law library at Northeastern University and as an associate in the K&L Gates Boston office.  Lawless-Collins earned her Masters of Information and Library Science from Simmons College and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.  She has presented on electronic resource management and written for the Law Librarians of New England and the ALL-SIS Newsletter.  She manages social media for the Law Librarians of New England, chairs the Collection Development Committee for the Academic Special Interest Section of the American Association of Law Libraries, serves on the Acquisitions Committee for the Technical Services Special Interest Section of the American Association for Law Libraries, and is currently serving on the Annual Meeting Program Committee for the American Association of Law Libraries.  She has also taught legal research for the Law Librarians of New England.
