Collection Policy: Selection Standards
G. Free Internet Resources
Web distribution plays an increasingly important role in providing legal information from local, national and international governments and organizations. Freely available sources may also continue or duplicate titles held in other formats. Web search engines and other web related finding tools remain the primary method for identifying law related resources freely available on the web. Catalog links are provided for web resources that meet the library's general criteria for selecting resources, make significant additions to the collection or aid researchers in identifying the resource, and if it appears that the website is reliable for future use. The library also provides access by making relevant resources prominent through web pages and special research guides.
