Classes & Orientation Programs for Research Assistants
The library provides an extensive orientation and classes for summer research assistants. Orientation consists of registration for library services as well as a presentation on special services for research assistants. Classes cover research techniques and topics relevant to the faculty's research needs.
Research assistants who work during the academic year may obtain a copy of the library's Research Assistant Guide for detailed information on library services. You may also request a research appointment to meet with a reference librarian to discuss special needs.
All research assistants are encouraged to register for library services. Registration benefits include:
- Working with the legal information librarian most familiar with your faculty member's research.
- Emails of library announcements affecting Research Assistants.
